The NZDGDC is the disc golf arm of the NZFDA, there to support the Exec in matters related specifically to disc golf. They are elected each year at the Disc Golf AGM, held during the Disc Golf Nationals.

The main role of the NZDGDC is to develop and support initiatives that promote and foster both, participation in this sport and the profile of disc golf nationally and regionally. Effective communication is maintained through NZFDA Regional Reps and the disc golf list.

The NZDGDC is responsible for the NZ Disc Golf Tour, including the NZ Disc Golf Nationals. It also runs the Disc Golf New Zealand web site.
